JAKARTA: Kumpulan muzik dari Indonesia iaitu Nirwana yang popular di Malaysia dengan lagu Sudah Cukup Sudah memberitahu lagu itu dihasilkan bagi mengingati sahabat mereka yang mati akibat bunuh diri dalam kejadian beberapa tahun lalu.

Vokalis kumpulan tersebut, Denis berkata, sahabat mereka amat kecewa apabila kekasihnya berlaku curang dan mempunyai hubungan sulit dengan lelaki lain sehingga menyebabkan kehidupannya menjadi sengsara.

“Sahabat kami ini baik orangnya tetapi dia mendapat teman wanita yang jahat kerana sanggup berlaku curang.

“Setiap malam dia menangis sehinggalah dia mengeluarkan perkataan “sudah cukup sudah... biarlah aku pergi saja,” membuatkan kami amat terharu mendengar luahan hatinya itu,” katanya kepada mStar Online ketika ditemui sini, baru-baru ini.

Jelas Denis lagi, tidak lama kemudian, mereka mendapat berita lelaki berkenaan ditemui mati akibat membunuh diri sehinggalah mereka mendapat ilham untuk menghasilkan lagu berkenaan.

Katanya, ketika merakamkan lagu tersebut, dia tidak dapat menahan sebak apabila mengenang peristiwa tersebut yang berlaku akibat masalah putus cinta.

“Percaya atau tidak, saya menangis semasa merakamkan lagu itu. Saya benar-benar tak sangka sahabat saya mati akibat bunuh diri. Apabila saya mengilhamkan lagu berkenaan, saya benar-benar berharap contoh itu tidak dikuti oleh semua peminat saya,” katanya.

Sementara itu ditanya mengenai kehidupan mereka sebelum bergelar artis Nirwana memberitahu mereka hidup melarat termasuklah terpaksa tidur di bawah jambatan di negara ini.

Mereka juga pernah makanan nasi berkongsi lima kerana tiada sumber pendapatan lain akibat kesempitan hidup.

“Kami hidup melarat, tidur di bawah jambatan dan juga di tepi kaki lima jalan. Tapi itu semua pengalaman berguna untuk kami iaitu bukan mudah untuk menjadi seorang ahli muzik yang berjaya sebenarnya.

“Kami amat bersyukur kerana single pertama kami menjadi popular di Malaysia dan memasuki carta kebanyakan stesen radio disana,” katanya.

Selain Denis, Nirwana dianggotai oleh Henry (pemain dram), Arief (keyboard), Avew (gitar) dan Ekek (gitar utama).
